Ethiopia Forms Climate Journalists Association Chapter

Journalists, scientists and professionals concerned with climate, climate change and related issues have formed a Climate Journalists Association Chapter in Ethiopia.
Hailu Wudineh, the Chairperson of the Climate and Environment Journalists’ Association of Ethiopia (CEJA Ethiopia) in a communication to the NECJOGHA Secretariat, said that the members who met recently in the Ethiopian capital undertook to support the timely dissemination of climate information to benefit the public in Ethiopia and the Greater Horn of Africa region.
" I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that CEJAEthiopia will be happy to work with NECJOGHA and benefit from the wide experience to share with our members in the young association," said Hailu Wudineh.
The newly elected Chairperson added that the association was soon opening up a discussion forum at the Ethiopia forum page to discuss a range of issues affecting the country. He said that members were free to interact with others on the page at www.necjogha.org in English or Ahmaric
