HOOLIGANS who pretend to be promoters of climate change must be wiped out if the public is to get right information on agenda. Prof Peter Basalirwa from Makerere University said at the closing of the climate change conference for the media in Kampala over the weekend, that programmes on climate change have of late become a quick money making industry.

SCIENTISTS and the media fraternity in Africa have been called upon to put behind their personal and professional egos and work together against effects of climate change for the survival of the continent.
What is Burundi's priority at the Copenhagen Summit
Uganda’s priority at the Copenhagen summit will be adaptation. There are only two weeks to the international climate change talks in Copenhagen. Although Africa is supposed to come up with a single voice, to seal the deal that will bring unity against global warming, it is imperative that each country has its priority area; in Uganda’s case adaptation will be the frontline choice.

Environmental Crime Project- Tanzania part of it
The Environmental Crime Project was launched yesterday in Uganda. It is a project for Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Seychelles, Ethiopia, Sudan, Rwanda and Burundi. It protect our environment aganist all forms of environmental crimes.
